Abstract (en)
[origin: JPH05132187A] PURPOSE: To simplify a device and to form an empty storage without occupying a wide space. CONSTITUTION: A flexible steel belt drawn from a feed roll, curved through a guide roller and wound around storage roll is provided as a conveyer. An elastic steel belt 1 has plural U-shaped punches 7 arranged at equal intervals in longitudinal direction at the center thereof, and a tongue 5 to present a gripper function is edged by the respective U-shaped punches. While the steel belt 1 is curved through the guide roller, the tongue 5 is opened while being tangentially protruded for receiving one paper sheet or signature and when straightly guiding the steel belt 1, the tongue can be closed for holding one paper sheet or signature 19 in the state of gripper in contact with the steel belt 1.
