Abstract (en)
The roller has a fixed-position primary winding 40 and a roller sheath 32 which is driven such that it can rotate concentrically with respect to the primary winding and is magnetically conductive. The roller sheath has no secondary winding consisting of a copper insert, a copper coating or another electrically highly conductive material. However, the primary winding has AC fed to it whose frequency is at least 300 Hz. A plurality of primary windings can be provided axially side-by-side. <IMAGE>

Die Galette besitzt eine ortsfeste Primärwicklung 40 und einen Galettenmantel 32, der konzentrisch zur Primärwicklung drehbar angetrieben und magnetisch leitend ist. Der Galettenmantel besitzt keine Sekundärwicklung aus einer Kupfereinlage, Kupferauflage oder einem sonstigen elektrisch gut leitendem Material. Die primäre Wicklung wird jedoch mit einem Wechselstrom beschickt, dessen Frequenz mindestens 300 Hz beträgt. Es können mehrere Primärwicklungen axial nebeneinander vorgesehen werden. <IMAGE>
