Abstract (en)
System for automatically controlling the phase shift between a pair of unbalanced masses used for exciting a screening apparatus or the like, of the type in which the shafts via which the said unbalanced masses are connected to their drive motors are respectively connected to the input and to the output of an epicycloidal gear train, the rotation of the planet wheel is determined by a speed-reducing (geared) motor and defines the said phase shift with a view to the determination of the working angle of the vibrations, as a function of the stresses imposed on this apparatus by the nature of the treated material and of the objectives set by the user, characterised in that it includes, in the kinematic drive chain of the unbalanced masses, means for detecting the said stresses, that is to say taking them into account in order to calculate and to determine automatically the corresponding optimum phase shift. <IMAGE>
