[origin: EP0512159A1] For rerailing a rail grinding machine provided with at least one grinding device, there are provided on a first basic frame and a second basic frame corresponding rollers for running along the rails of a line of rails. The second basic frame (45) comprises essentially a first frame part (40) as well as a second frame part (46) which parts are in work connection with one another via a guide pipe (44). The second frame part (46) is adjustable in relation to the first frame part (40) by means of a spindle device (60) and readjustable by correspondingly arranged energy accumulators (49, 49'). As a result, track changes of the line of rails which arise, for example in bends, are correspondingly compensated and consequently tilting of the rail grinding machine between the rails is prevented. <IMAGE>
