Abstract (en)
The rotary milling tool has on the circumference a cutting knife with cutting edges. Some of these cutting edges are aligned to correspond to one direction of rotation of the tool body, other of the cutting edges are aligned to correspond to the other direction of rotation. All the cutting edges have the same distance from the axis of rotation. A milling tool of this form can be used in the same way in both directions of rotation. <IMAGE>

Das rotierende Fräswerkzeug besitzt am Umfang (12) Schneidmesser (3) mit Schneiden (1,2). Ein Teil dieser Schneiden (1,2) ist der einen Drehrichtung (15) des Werkzeugkörpers (6) entsprechend ausgerichtet, ein anderer Teil der Schneiden der anderen Drehrichtung (16). Alle Schneiden weisen von der Drehachse (7) den gleichen Abstand auf. Ein Fräswerkzeug dieser Gestalt kann in beiden Drehrichtungen (15,16) gleichartig verwendet werden. <IMAGE>
