To ensure efficient deburring, at the same time minimizing tool wear and the risk of damage to a workpiece, the design of the deburring device calls for the vibrator to move only vertically and for there to be no play between the surface of the workpiece (3) being deburred and the deburring template (4), so that burrs are trimmed off by the deburring template when the workpiece (3) is passed through the template.
