[origin: WO9111190A1] A self-inactivating viral vector for integrating and expressing at least one heterologous gene in bird cells, characterized in that it is formed from the proviral genome of a bird retrovirus and in that it comprises, between two bird LTR sequences, the heterologous gene(s) controlled by a heterologous internal promoter, deletions or mutations having been performed in the 3' LTR so as to inactivate the viral promoters present in LTRs.

La présente invention a pour objet un vecteur viral auto-inactivant d'intégration et d'expression d'au moins un gène hétérologue dans des cellules aviaires, caractérisé en qu'il est constitué à partir du génome proviral d'un rétrovirus aviaire et qu'il comprend entre deux séquences LTR aviaires lesdit(s) gène(s) hétérologue(s) qui se trouve(nt) sous le contrôle d'um promoteur interne hétérologue, des délétions ou des mutations dans la LTR 3' ayant été effectuées de manière à inactiver les promoteurs viraux présents dans les LTR.
