[origin: WO9209728A1] The whorl-cleaning device proposed can be driven along the spinning machine and has a head with a cutting blade and suction nozzle. This head is mounted in a housing which is fitted with wheels running on rails and with a positioning device which operates using markings on the spinning machine. The positioning device thus determines, by means of these markings, the position of the whorl-cleaning device with respect to the spindles on the machine. The invention calls for the positioning device and the head (17, 117) to be a single unit mounted on the housing (1, 101) so that it is adjustable in height. In addition, the markings form a horizontal stop at a given vertical distance from the annular grooves (34). The positioning device aligns the unit vertically with the annular groove (34) when the unit is acted on by the stop. The device can also have several heads (17, 117) whose distance apart is the same as the distance between the spindles.

Un dispositif de nettoyage de la noix de métiers continus à filer à anneau est mobile le long du métier et comprend une tête avec une lame de coupe et un bec d'aspiration. La tête est montée dans un boîtier qui porte des roues mobiles sur des rails et comprend en outre un dispositif de positionnement qui coopère avec des repères disposés sur le métier. Le dispositif de positionnement détermine avec ces repères la position du dispositif de nettoyage devant les broches du métier. Le point essentiel de l'invention est le fait que le dispositif de positionnement forme avec la tête (17, 117) une unité modulaire montée réglable en hauteur sur le boîtier (1, 101). En outre, les repères forment une butée horizontale qui présente un écartement vertical prédéterminé par rapport aux rainures annulaires (34).
