The invention relates to a multi-function table which consists of a base frame (1), a first table top (18) and a second table top (30), which table tops are connected to the base frame (1). A left-hand and a right-hand first column (13, 13') are firmly connected to the base frame (1) and a left-hand and right-hand second column (14, 14') are firmly connected to the lower table top (18). The first and second columns are each connected pivotably to one another by means of parallel guiding arms (11, 12, 11', 12') in such a way that they bring about parallel guiding of the second columns (14, 14') in the vertical direction. Height-adjustment means (15, 16) in the form of gas pressure springs engage on the parallel guiding arms, on the base frame and on the movable second columns in such a way that they also bring about rapid and energy-saving height-adjustment even when the table top is loaded. <IMAGE>

Die Erfindung betrifft einen Mehrfunktionstisch, der aus einem Grundgestell (1), einer ersten Tischplatte (18) und einer zweiten Tischplatte (30) besteht, welche mit dem Grundgestell (1) verbunden sind. Mit dem Grundgestell (1) sind eine linke und rechte erste Säule (13, 13') und mit der unteren Tischplatte (18) eine linke und rechte zweite Säule (14, 14') fest verbunden. Die ersten und zweiten Säulen sind jeweils durch Parallelführungsarme (11, 12, 11', 12') schwenkbar miteinander so verbunden, daß sie eine Parallelführung der zweiten Säulen (14, 14') in Höhenrichtung bewirken. Höhenverstellmittel (15, 16) in Form von Gasdruckfedern greifen so an den Parallelführungsarmen sowie am Grundgestell und an den beweglichen zweiten Säulen an, daß sie auch bei belasteten Tischplatten eine schnelle und kraftsparende Höhenverstellung bewirken. <IMAGE>
