[origin: EP0514344A1] A tubular printing blanket (14) for a printing blanket cylinder (12) in an offset-printing machine (10) comprises the following features: a cylindrical tube (70), a layer (62) which can be pressed together over this tube (70) and a non-extensible layer (66) over the layer (62) which can be pressed together. The cylindrical tube (70) can be pushed telescopically over a printing blanket cylinder (12). The layer (62) which can be pressed together comprises a first seamless, tubular body (74) of elastic polymer, which contains microspheres (76) which can be pressed together. The non-extensible layer (66) comprises a second seamless, tubular body (100) of elastic polymer, which contains a tubular lower layer (102) of circumferentially non-extensible material (102). A seamless, tubular pressure layer (68) over the non-extensible layer (68) has an endless, gapless cylindrical pressure surface (110).
