The device as disclosed comprises a shaped element (7) exhibiting a contour defining a glue delivery line substantially corresponding to the outline of the insole edges (5) at the toe, sole, and sole-hollow-junction lengths, a support unit (13) for the shaped element (7), adapted to position and adapt said shaped element (7) close to and under said insole (5), at least a pair of glue spreaders (36) provided with glue delivery tips (37), and a movement unit (39) for said spreaders (36), designed to move the delivery tips (37) along said lengths of the insole edges while keeping said tips (37) elastically in contact with the shaped element contour. <IMAGE>
