[origin: EP0514370A2] The invention relates to a method for extracting by suction foreign matter from a stream of bulk material, consisting of the following steps: - transporting the stream of bulk material to an extraction nozzle via a conveyor device; - ejecting the stream of bulk material over an edge of the first conveyor device; - extracting the foreign matter via the nozzle; - transporting the stream of bulk material via a further conveyor device.
