Abstract (en)

[origin: EP0514642A1] Cross-country ski boot, particularly for performing the skating step, obtained from an outer sole 11 on a front part 11a of which the ski 30 is fastened and comprising a low upper 10 equipped with a rear counter (stiffener) 12 on which is articulated (14) a rigid collar 13 intended to surround the lower leg and which extends upwards from the upper, starting from the articulation 14, beyond its upper end, characterised in that it comprises elastic means 40 for longitudinal angular control of the ski 30 in the air with respect to the sole 11 of the boot during the phase of bringing back the ski 30. The angular control means 40 consist, for example, of an elastic member 41 being a flange made from elastic fabric connecting the collar 13 to the upper 10 in order to bring about an automatic return of the latter towards the collar 13 in the direction F1 and, consequently, automatic raising of the front part 30a of the ski 30 when the latter is not in a drive phase. <IMAGE>
