Screw clamp with a rail, on the one end of which a fixed jaw (fixed part) is fitted, and along which a movable clamping jaw (loose part) is guided displaceably with a clamping device in such a way that between the rail and the loose part there is an amount of play, which permits a slight tilting movement of the loose part on the rail, and in which arrangement there is between the rail and the loose part a form closure retarding the longitudinal movement of the loose part on the rail, the form closure being formed by a wedge (7), which is located between the loose part (4) and the rail (2) and has a form-closing face (19) facing a form-closing face (20) of the rail (2), and the wedge (7) being arranged with play between the rail (2) and the loose part (4). <IMAGE>

Schraubzwinge mit einer Schiene, an deren einem Ende eine feste Backe (Festteil) sitzt, und entlang der eine bewegliche Spannbacke (Losteil) mit Spanneinrichtung derart verschiebbar geführt ist, daß zwischen Schiene und Losteil ein Spiel besteht, welches eine geringe Kippbewegung des Losteils auf der Schiene ermöglicht, und wobei zwischen Schiene und Losteil eine die Längsbewegung des Losteils auf der Schiene hemmmender Formschluß gegeben ist, wobei der Formschluß von einem zwischen Losteil (4) und Schiene (2) befindlichen Keil (7) mit einer einer Formschlußfläche (20) der Schiene (2) zugewandten Formschlußfläche (19) gebildet wird, und der Keil (7) mit Spiel zwischen der Schiene (2) und dem Losteil (4) angeordnet ist. <IMAGE>
