Abstract (en)
In a process for the anodic or cathodic electrocoating of strip or profile material, an electrical contact is made to the strip or profile material and an electrically conducting connection is made from at least one surface of the strip or profile material to a cathode or anode by means of an uninterrupted jet or liquid curtain originating from the cathode or anode and consisting of a water-soluble coating as the electrolyte liquid. The strip or profile material is moved in order to continuously apply the electrolyte liquid to at least one surface and the coating particles coagulate to form a film on at least one surface of the strip or profile material as a result of applying a direct voltage between cathode and anode.

Verfahren zum anodischen oder kathodischen Elektrolackieren von Band- oder Profilmaterial, bei dem ein elektrischer Kontakt mit dem Band- oder Profilmaterial hergestellt wird, eine elektrisch leitende Verbindung von wenigstens einer Oberfläche des Band- oder Profilmaterials zu einer Kathode oder Anode mittels eines von der Kathode oder Anode ausgehenden, ununterbrochenen Strahls oder Flüssigkeitsvorhangs aus einem wasserlöslichen Lack als Elektrolytflüssigkeit hergestellt, das Band- oder Profilmaterial zum durchlaufende Beaufschlagen wenigstens einer Oberfläche mit der Elektrolytflüssigkeit bewegt und die Lackteilchen unter Filmbildung auf wenigstens einer Oberfläche mit der Elektrolytflüssigkeit bewegt und die Lackteilchen unter Filmbildung auf wenigstens einer Oberfläche des Band- oder Profilmaterials durch Anlegen einer Gleichspannung zwischen Kathode und Anode koagulieren.
