Process for weaving a double-pile fabric and especially a weft weave in such a way that it is woven in a single-bobbin or double-bobbin manner with the avoidance of a pick, said process being characterised in that the applied working repeat for the pile warp yarns extending only over three wefts, whilst the working periodicity of the basic weave extends over a number of wefts other than three, preferably over 4 wefts. <IMAGE>

Verfahren zum Weben eines Doppelstück-Polgewebes und insbesondere einer Schußbindung in der Weise, daß sie ein- oder doppelspulig unter Ausschaltung eines Einschusses gewebt wird, mit dem Kennzeichen, daß der aufgelegte Arbeitsrapport für die Polkettfäden sich nur über drei Schuß erstreckt, während sich der Arbeitsrapport der Grundbindung auf eine von Drei abweichende Anzahl Schuß, vorzugsweise über vier Schuß erstreckt. <IMAGE>
