[origin: DE4004869C1] According to the invention, in a process for generating carbon monoxide in which a mixture of a hydrocarbon, preferably methane, and carbon dioxide is supplied in the presence of a catalyst with the provision of heat to at least one reformation stage and carbon dioxide and hydrogen are separated from the reformed initial gas mixture, the gas mixture is taken to a convectively heated first reformation stage, the exhaust gas from the first reformation stage is taken together with oxygen to an autothermal second reformation stage and the exhaust gas from the second reformation stage is taken to the convectively heated reformation stage as the heating gas.

Procédé de production de monoxyde de carbone dans lequel un mélange d'hydrocarbure, de préférence du méthane, et de gaz carbonique est amené au moins à un étage de reformage, sous adduction de chaleur, en présence d'un catalyseur, et dans lequel le gaz carbonique et l'hydrogène sont séparés du mélange de gaz initial reformé. D'après l'invention, le mélange de gaz est amené à un premier étage de reformage réchauffé par convection, le gaz de sortie du premier étage de reformage est amené à un deuxième étage de reformage autothermique, avec de l'oxygène, et le gaz de sortie du deuxième étage de reformage est amené comme gaz de chauffage à l'étage de reformage réchauffé par convection.
