The invention relates to a stirring device, in particular for mixing liquids in a stirred vessel. The stirring device is provided with a motor driveable stirrer shaft (14) to which, for example, two stirrer blades (18) are fastened, each of which is shaped as a planar elliptic ring segment. The two stirrer blades cross each other, and their planes are preferably perpendicular to a plane which passes through the central axis of the stirrer shaft. <IMAGE>

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Rührvorrichtung insbesondere zum Mischen von Flüssigkeiten in einem Rührbehälter. Die Rührvorrichtung ist mit einer motorisch antreibbaren Rührerwelle (14) versehen, an der zum Beispiel zwei Rührblätter (18) befestigt sind, die jeweils in Form eines ebenen elliptischen Ringsegmentes ausgebildet sind. Die beiden Rührblätter kreuzen sich und ihre Ebenen stehen vorzugsweise senkrecht auf einer Ebene, welche durch die Mittelachse der Rührerwelle verläuft. <IMAGE>
