The invention relates to a suspension system especially for wheel support on motor vehicles, with at least one spring strut (2, 4), comprising a cylinder (6) and a piston (8) movably carried in this for compression and rebound and acted upon by a hydraulic medium especially an oil. In the case of compression, the spring strut (2, 4) acts counter to a spring force causing the subsequent rebound, the hydraulic medium, at least during the rebound, being led by way of a flow path of a damping valve (30/32). During rebound of the spring strut (2/4) the flow path of the damping valve (30/32) is constantly alternately closed and opened again.

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Federungssystem insbesondere zur Radabstützung bei Kraftfahrzeugen, mit mindestens einem aus einem Zylinder (6) und einem in diesem zum Ein- und Ausfedern beweglich geführten, von einem Hydraulikmedium, insbesondere einem Öl, beaufschlagten Kolben (8) bestehenden Federbein (2,4). Das Federbein (2, 4) wirkt beim Einfedern gegen eine das nachfolgende Ausfedern bewirkende Federkraft, wobei das Hydraulikmedium zumindest während des Ausfederns über einen Strömungsweg eines Dämpfungsventils (30/32) geführt wird. Während des Ausfederns des Federbeins (2/4) wird der Strömungsweg des Dämpfungsventils (30/32) ständig alternierend gesperrt und wieder geöffnet.
