The invention relates to an internal combustion engine with an intake line for fresh air induction, one section of the intake line (1) passing across the cylinder head cover (2). To achieve engine space ventilation which is as simple and safe in operation as possible, it is proposed to provide the intake line section (1) with at least one connection branch (3), which projects through an opening (8) in the cylinder head cover (2) into a camshaft space (5), the said space thus being connected in a simple manner to the intake line. <IMAGE>

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Brennkraftmaschine mit einer Ansaugleitung zur Frischluftansaugung, wobei ein Abschnitt der Ansaugleitung (1) über einer Zylinderkopfhaube (2) verläuft. Zur Erzielung einer möglichst einfachen und betriebssicheren Motorraumentlüftung wird vorgeschlagen, den Ansaugleitungsabschnitt (1) mit zumindest einem Anschlußstutzen (3) zu versehen, welcher durch eine in der Zylinderkopfhaube (2) vorgesehene Öffnung (8) in einen Nockenwellenraum (5) ragt, wobei dieser in einfacher Weise mit der Ansaugleitung verbunden ist. <IMAGE>
