The invention relates to packaging of a pump (9), with two shells (1,2) made of heat- and/or sound-insulating material which surround the pump (9) and which, in the assembled and connected state of the pump, form a layer insulating the pump (9), the shells (1,2) having, on their inner faces, recesses (3) which are shaped in accordance with the exterior of the pump, and one of the shells having a further recess (4) whose shape matches the exterior of the pump and into which the pump (9) can be inserted in a position which is rotated through 90 degrees in relation to the position in which the pump (9) is positioned in the shells (1,2) in the first position. <IMAGE>

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Verpackung einer Pumpe (9) mit zwei Schalen (1,2) aus wärme- und/oder schalldämmenden Material, die die Pumpe (9) umgeben und im montierten und angeschlossenen Zustand der Pumpe eine die Pumpe (9) isolierende Schicht bilden, wobei die Schalen (1,2) an den Innenseiten Ausnehmungen (3) aufweisen, die der Pumpenaußenseite nachgebildet sind, wobei eine der Schalen eine weitere Ausnehmung (4) aufweist, die der Pumpenaußenseite nachgebildet ist und in die die Pumpe (9) in einer Stellung einsetzbar ist, die um 90 Grad verdreht ist zu der Stellung, in der die Pumpe (9) in der ersten Stellung in den Schalen (1,2) einliegt. <IMAGE>
