Abstract (en)
A method of sharpening the surfaces of the blade (6) of a machine (1) for cutting fabric by means of a grinding device (13) is specified. Starting from the bottom dead centre position (UT) of the tip (7) of the blade (6) during the cutting operation, a grinding device (13) arranged close to the holding-down device (9) is brought to bear against the surfaces of the blade (6) and activated. The blade (6) is then pulled out until the tip (7) is also ground by the grinding device (13). The grinding device (13) is then stopped and the blade (6) is put back into the cutting position. This procedure is regularly repeated and in addition takes place even if it is necessary to pull out the blade (6) for cutting reasons. <IMAGE>
Abstract (de)
Es wird ein Verfahren zum Schleifen der Messerflächen des Messers (6) einer Stoffschneidemaschine (1) mittels einer Schleifvorrichtung (13) angegeben. Ausgehend von der beim Schneidevorgang unteren Totpunktslage (UT) der Messerspitze (7) des Messers (6) wird eine nahe dem Niederhalter (9) angeordnete Schleifvorrichtung (13) in Anlage gegen die Messerflächen des Messers (6) gebracht und in Betrieb gesetzt. Anschließend wird das Messer (6) herausgezogen bis auch die Spitze (7) durch die Schleifvorrichtung (13) geschliffen wird. Die Schleifvorrichtung (13) wird dann außer Betrieb gesetzt und das Messer (6) wird wieder in die Schneidposition gebracht. Diese Vorgehensweise wird regelmäßig wiederholt und erfolgt außerdem auch dann, wenn ein herausziehen des Messers (6) aus Zuschnittgründen zwangsläufig ist. <IMAGE>
