A rotary-bolt lock for doors or windows comprises a bolt (5) which is rotatable about an axis (6) and which can be rotated by means of an espagnolette (12) and a member connecting the espagnolette (12) to the bolt (5), in the opening position the bolt (5) being located within the door wing or window wing, and in the closing position a hook-like front bolt part (14) engaging through a recess (4) in the cover rail (3) into a locking part (16) on the frame (1). In a known rotary-bolt lock, the rotary bolt is mounted on a bracket attached to the cover rail and is guided solely in the recess of the cover rail. In order, whilst ensuring the possibility of easy mounting, to safeguard the rotary-bolt lock to the maximum extent against being broken open by a crowbar, the bolt (5) has essentially the form of a semicircle and is mounted within a cast-metal housing (7) - which surrounds the bolt (5) with slight play - which has a guide for a slide (8, 8') which can be inserted with a nose (11) into a recess (22) of the espagnolette (12) and which is connected to the bolt (5) via a pin (10), and - which can be screwed to the lower and upper end of the cover rail (3) so as to engage with play over the espagnolette (12). <IMAGE>

Ein Drehriegelverschluß für Türen oder Fenster umfaßt einen um eine Achse (6) drehbaren Riegel (5), der mittels einer Treibstange (12) und eines die Treibstange (12) mit dem Riegel (5) verbindenden Gliedes drehbar ist, wobei in der Öffnungsstellung sich der Riegel (5) innerhalb des Tür- oder Fensterflügels befindet und in der Schließstellung ein hakenartiger vorderer Riegelteil (14) durch eine Ausnehmung (4) in der Stulpschiene (3) hindurch in ein Schließteil (16) am Rahmen (1) eingreift. Bei einem bekannten Drehriegelverschluß ist der Drehriegel an einer an der Stulpschiene angebrachten Konsole gelagert und lediglich in der Ausnehmung der Stulpschiene geführt. Um den Drehriegelverschluß bei leichter Montierbarkeit maximal gegen Aufbrechen mit einem Brecheisen zu sichern, hat der Riegel (5) im wesentlichen die Form eines Halbkreises und ist innerhalb eines aus Metallguß bestehenden Gehäuses (7) gelagert, das den Riegel (5) mit geringem Spiel umschließt, das eine Führung für einen Schieber (8,8') aufweist, der mit einer Nase (11) in eine Ausnehmung (22) der Treibstange (12) einsteckbar ist und der über einen Bolzen (10) mit dem Riegel (5) verbunden ist und das die Treibstange (12) mit Spiel übergreifend am unteren und oberen Ende der Stulpschiene (3) anschraubbar ist. <IMAGE>
