[origin: EP0517584A1] A butterfly valve (choke) body for an injection device comprises a casing in which an inlet duct (10) is made containing a butterfly valve (choke) (14) in the form of a substantially circular disc mounted on a median shaft (12) for rotation about an axis transverse to the duct and which can move between a minimum, or possibly zero, opening position and a maximum opening position in which the butterfly valve (choke) is oriented parallel to the axis of the duct. The inlet duct also contains a shutter (22) mounted rotationally about a spindle (24) parallel to the spindle of the offset butterfly valve (choke). The shutter has dissymmetry so that the air passing through the inlet duct tends to bring one of its wings (28) into a position in which it blocks part of the inlet duct. The shutter has a mechanical link with the butterfly valve (choke) which causes the progressive forced opening of the shutter when the movement of the butterfly valve (choke) from its minimum position exceeds a specified angle. <IMAGE>
