[origin: WO9112287A1] A method for producing polymeric foams based upon the N=C=O technology, intended for thermal insulation, floatation, rigidization, and like comprises the use of a liquid gas blowing agent, such as a liquid CO2 in the production of the foam. In addition, the present invention relates to the control of the amount of pre-expansion and post-expansion of the foam. This control can be provided through both the use of a co-blowing agent as well as controlling the pressure at the mixing zone.

Procédé de production de mousses polymères à base de la technologie N=C=O, destinées à l'isolation thermique, la flottation, la rigidification et analogue, consistant à utiliser des agents gonflants gazeux liquides, tels que du CO2 liquide dans la production de la mousse. De plus, l'invention concerne la régulation de la quantité de pré-expansion et de post-expansion de la mousse. Cette régulation peut être effectuée à la fois par l'emploi d'un co-agent gonflant ainsi que par la régulation de la pression au niveau de la zone de mélange.
