[origin: WO9212332A1] Two-stroke engine including at least one cylinder (1) in which a piston moves delimiting a combustion chamber (4), a crankcase-pump (5) located at one of the cylinder ends and separated from the combustion chamber (4) by said piston (3), at least one transfer port in the combustion chamber, at least one transfer conduit (11) linking said combustion chamber (4) to the crankcase-pump (5), at least one exhaust port (12) for evacuating combustion gases from the combustion chamber (4), and means (14, 63) located in the region of the transfer conduit (11) and controlled by the rotational movement of the crankshaft (6) for blanking off said conduit (11) at certain moments of the cycle, in order to delay scavenging in the combustion chamber (4).

Moteur à deux temps comportant au moins un cylindre (1) dans lequel se déplace un piston (3) délimitant une chambre de combustion (4), un carter-pompe (5) situé à l'une des extrémités dudit cylindre et séparé de ladite chambre de combustion (4) par ledit piston (3), au moins une ouverture de transfert (9) dans la chambre de combustion, au moins un conduit de transfert (11) reliant ladite chambre de combustion (4) audit carter-pompe (5), au moins une ouverture d'échappement (12) des gaz brûlés de la chambre de combustion (4), et des moyens (14, 63) placés au niveau dudit conduit de transfert (11), asservis à la rotation du vilebrequin (6) et destinés à obturer ledit canal (11) à certains moments du cycle, de façon à retarder le balayage dans la chambre de combustion (4).
