Abstract (en)
A lithographic offset printing press has a printing-ink source (40), a damping-liquid source (42), and a first means for transferring and emulsifying the printing ink and the damping liquid. The first means comprises an impression cylinder (12) for supporting a printing plate (18). A second means (96 or 150) can be actuated selectively while the impression cylinder (12) rotates and transfers the image from the printing plate (18) onto the material (24) to be printed. The second means (96 or 150), on actuation, causes the first means to emulsify the printing ink and the damping liquid in order to keep undesirable quantities of damping liquid on the printing plate (18) as low as possible. A third means (100 or 200) selectively actuates the second means (96 or 150) as soon as undesirable quantities of damping liquid occur on the printing plate (18). <IMAGE>

Eine lithographische Offset-Druckerpresse weist eine Druckfarbenquelle (40), eine Anfeuchtflüssigkeitsquelle (42), und ein erstes Mittel zum Übertragen und Emulgieren der Druckfarbe und der Anfeuchtflüssigkeit auf. Das erste Mittel beinhaltet eine Druckwalze (12) zum Tragen einer Druckplatte (18). Ein zweites Mittel (96 bzw. 150) ist selektiv betätigbar, während sich die Druckwalze (12) dreht und das Bild von der Druckplatte (18) auf das zu bedruckende Material (24) überträgt. Das zweite Mittel (96 bzw. 150) bewirkt bei Betätigung, daß das erste Mittel Druckfarbe und Anfeuchtflüssigkeit emulgiert, um unerwünschte Mengen Anfeuchtflüssigkeit auf der Druckplatte (18) möglichst gering zu halten. Ein drittes Mittel (100 bzw. 200) betätigt selektiv das zweite Mittel (96 bzw. 150), sobald unerwünschte Mengen Anfeuchtflüssigkeit auf der Druckplatte (18) auftreten. <IMAGE>
