[origin: EP0518099A1] A device for opening up-and-over doors, to be precise especially so-called non-swingout up-and-over doors, has a lever arrangement (40) consisting of essentially three levers (42, 46, 52). One lever is fastened to the door leaf (1) and is connected to a lever (52) of variable length which is at an acute angle (101) to the door leaf (1). The third lever (42) connects the end points of the other two levers to one another. A pull device (38, 72) connected to the slide (11) of a conventional door drive engages on the lever (52) of variable length. The arrangement ensures that a torque is exerted on the door leaf (1) at the start of the opening stroke, said torque first making it possible for the door leaf to open automatically. <IMAGE>
