Main components of the coupler-polariser according to the invention are a polarisation filter (1) which is constructed in a broadband manner such that it is virtually precisely phase-balanced, and a 3 dB coupler (2), which is connected thereto via waveguides/coaxial lead junctions (5), is designed using coaxial-lead technology and, because of the 90 DEG phase shift of its subwaves, operates as part of a circular polariser. The coupler-polariser can be used for broadband antenna-supply systems in satellite or directional radio. <IMAGE>

Hauptkomponenten des Kopplerpolarisators nach der Erfindung sind eine breitbandig so gut wie exakt phasensymmetrisch ausgebildete Polarisationsweiche (1) und ein daran über Hohlleiter-Koaxialleitungs-Übergänge (5) angeschlossener, in Koaxialleitungstechnik ausgeführter 3 dB-Koppler (2), der aufgrund der 90<o>-Phasenverschiebung seiner Teilwellen als Teil eines Zirkularpolarisators arbeitet. Der Kopplerpolarisator ist für breitbandige Antennenspeisesysteme beim Satelliten- oder Richtfunk einsetzbar. <IMAGE>
