Abstract (en)
The invention relates to the sealing devices for heat exchangers which comprise two fluid-distributing manifolds which are parallel to each other, the said manifolds (2, 3) being divided into segments (4) which are assembled via their end face (9, 14). A segment fitted with the sealing device according to the invention comprises, on this end face (9, 14), a groove (11) in which there is placed a seal made of elastic material (12) pressed against the plane end face (9, 14) of an adjacent segment. The device according to the invention applies especially to very long heat exchangers. <IMAGE>
