[origin: EP0518849A2] Non-electrical igniter which possesses, in a sleeve (03) closed on one side, an ignition charge (11, 12) equipped, if appropriate, with a delayed-action composition (10) and sealed off from the open sleeve end by a percussion cap (07) which is inserted into a holder (05) and into which opens an ignition tube (01), in the opening region of which a striking pin (04) for the percussion cap (07) is arranged so as to be movable. To guarantee a perfect movability of the striking pin (04) and a maximum conversion of the pressure energy, the holder (05) is made essentially hollow-cylindrical and the striking pin (04) is guided completely in the latter. Between the percussion cap (07) and the striking pin (04) there can be an elastic body (08) through which the latter can pass during ignition and which holds the striking pin (04) securely in its initial position. <IMAGE>
