[origin: WO9113493A1] In switching the band filter circuits (1) in a television receiver, the negative switching voltage for the switching diodes is generated by rectifying the oscillations of the receiver oscillator (3). At the very low oscillator amplitudes required, it is no longer possible to attain a sufficiently high negative direct voltage by rectification to prevent interference. Therefore, in band 1 operation a Schottky diode (10) is used for rectification. In parallel with this Schottky diode is fitted a further switching diode (12) which, with the Schottky diode connected through, bridges the latter low-ohmically in band 2 operation.
