Abstract (en)

The invention relates to a procedure and a device for the deburring of pipe end faces by machining. In the process, the pipe (1) to be deburred is rotated about a longitudinal axis (8) and pressed with its end face against a grinding belt (5) in such a way that the grinding direction is from the inside of the pipe to the outside of the pipe. As a result, a burr-free inner edge and secondary grinding burr on the outer edge are produced. This outer burr is then removed by the known technique of an elastic grinding tool and at the same time slight edge radiusing is produced. <IMAGE>

Abstract (de)

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren und eine Vorrichtung zum Entgraten von Rohrstirnseiten durch spanabhebende Bearbeitung. Dabei wird das zu entgratende Rohr (1) um eine Längsachse (8) rotierend mit seiner Stirnseite so gegen ein Schleifband (5) gedrückt, daß die Schleifrichtung von der Rohrinnenseite zur Rohraußenseite erfolgt. Dabei wird eine gratfreie Innenkante und ein sekundärer Schleifgrat an der Außenkante erzeugt. Dieser Außengrat wird anschließend mit bekannter Technik eines elastischen Schleifwerkzeuges entfernt und gleichzeitig eine leichte Kantenverrundung erzeugt. <IMAGE>
