Abstract (en)

[origin: EP0519146A1] The device for limiting a shuttering end face comprises a precast element (1) of a width (W) which corresponds to the thickness of the concrete structure to be erected and of a modular length (L). The element (1) has openings (2) for fitting through reinforcing bars (3), lines (4) or pipes. Since the element is intended to remain in the masonry, it is expediently fabricated from a relatively fine concrete, contained in which is a reinforcing mesh (5) of plastic which also extends over the openings (2) and, in addition, prevents concrete from flowing to the outside when the said concrete is introduced. <??>Such a terminating element permits rapid and exact limiting of the shuttering if the masonry is not concreted in one piece or in the case of crane clearances and, moreover, does not require shuttering when concreting the adjoining part. <IMAGE>
