[origin: EP0519232A1] The invention relates to a cable drum driving mechanism for a mobile, multi-purpose child's toy, which with a lifting mechanism can be operated together with this with a grab bucket (9) by way of a cable with a force which can be exerted by children. At the same time the crank (6) is connected for operation to a split drum (4, 4a) and the hub of the crank wheel is designed as a sun gear (1) of an epicyclic gearing and the web (2) and/or the internal gear (3) of the epicyclic gearing is connected to the cable drum (4). This compact design advantageously makes raising, lowering and operation of the grab bucket in a realistic form possible even for children. <IMAGE>
