In order to be able to fix a small or medium-sized container directly to securing elements present on vehicle loading surfaces for ISO containers as well as to insert it in ISO containers or container frames, only one (23) of two fittings (23, 27) present at opposite ends of the container is attached rigidly while the other one (27) can be pivoted between an operating position, in which it projects over the outer dimension of the container, and a position of rest in which it is situated within the outer dimension of the container. <IMAGE>

Um einen Klein- oder Mittelcontainer sowohl unmittelbar an auf Fahrzeugladeflächen für ISO-Container vorhandenen Arretierungselementen fixieren als auch in ISO-Container oder -Containerrahmen einsetzen zu können, ist nur einer (23) von zwei an gegenüberliegenden Containerenden vorhandenen Beschlägen (23, 27) starr befestigt, während der andere (27) zwischen einer Arbeitsstellung, in der er über das Außenmaß des Containers herausragt, und einer Ruhestellung klappbar ist, in der er sich innerhalb des Containeraußenmaßes befindet. <IMAGE>
