Abstract (en)
During the guiding of webs of paper or cardboard, a guide cylinder which extends over half the web engages with the surface of the web and attempts to make running adjustments to the webs by executing rotational and/or pivoting movements. The long, linear surface of engagement of the guide cylinder results in a high degree of mechanical load, the central region of the guide cylinder having almost no adjusting effect. By dividing up the guide cylinder into at least two guide rollers which are parallel to and at a distance from another and whose axes are perpendicular to the running direction of the web of material, a favourable and larger effective working surface for making running adjustments is achieved. <IMAGE>

Beim Führen von Papier- oder Pappebahnen greift ein über die halbe Bahn sich erstreckender Führungszylinder auf die Oberfläche der Bahn und versucht durch Drehung bzw. Verschwenkung Laufkorrekturen an den Bahnen zu erreichen. Die lange, linienförmige Auflagezone des Führungszylinders ruft eine hohe mechanische Belastung hervor, wobei der Führungszylinder mit seinem Mittelbereich fast keine Korrekturwirkung ausübt. Durch Aufteilung des Führungszylinders in mindestens zwei beabstandete, parallele Führungsrollen, deren Achsen senkrecht zur Warenbahnlaufrichtung liegen, wird eine günstige und größere aktive Angriffsfläche zur Laufkorrektur erreicht. <IMAGE>
