Abstract (en)
The present invention relates to a strapped magnetron including a central cathode (23) surrounded by a crown-like anode with radial vanes (21, 22) directed towards the cathode (23). The vanes are either even (22) or odd (21). At least one pair of concentric rings (3, 3') are connected electrically to the vanes (3, 3'). The odd vanes (21) are thicker than the even vanes (22). All the vanes present the same cross section to the cathode (23). The ring (3) of large diameter is connected to the odd vanes (21) and the ring (3') of small diameter is connected to the even vanes (22). <IMAGE>
