The invention relates to a cable drum with a drum hub and drum discs, in which at least one of the two drum discs (3) has in the region of the drum hub (2) a cable aperture (5) through which the start of the cable to be wound up can be passed and a cable clamping device (7) on the outside, at a radial distance from the cable aperture (5), for fixing the start of the cable. Es handelt sich um eine Kabeltrommel mit Trommelnabe und Trommelscheiben, bei der zumindest eine der beiden Trommelscheiben (3) im Bereich der Trommelnabe (2) eine Kabeldurchtrittsöffnung (5) zum Hindurchführen des Kabelanfanges des aufzuwickelnden Kabels und außenseitig im radialen Abstand von der Kabeldurchtrittsöffnung (5) eine Kabelklemmvorrichtung (7) zum Fixieren des Kabelanfangs aufweist. Außerdem kann zumindest eine der beiden Trommelscheiben (3) im Randbereich über den Umfang verteilte Befestigungslöcher zur Lagesicherung für den Transport besitzen. <IMAGE>
