It is known to set up installation units having at least one sanitary fitting by means of height-adjustable foot supports on an uncovered floor. These installation units are clad on their front side by at least one covering element, the lower horizontal edge of which maintains a distance from the uncovered floor, so that outwardly there is a gap from a cavity behind the covering element. In order that, for example when placing the screed on the uncovered floor, the screed cannot flow undesirably through the gap into the cavity behind the covering element mentioned, to close off this gap (22) according to the invention an angled-off partitioning element (23) is fastened height-adjustably to the supporting frame (12) of the installation unit (10), preferably behind the covering element (20). The horizontal section (25) of the partitioning element (23) overlaps the projecting parts of the footplates (17), in order to avoid any damage to the welded or foil sheetings, used for dampproofing, by the sharp edges and borders of the footplates (17). <IMAGE>

Es ist bekannt, Installationsblöcke mit wenigstens einem Sanitärkörper über höhenverstellbare Fußstützen auf einem Rohboden aufzustellen. Diese Installationsblöcke sind an ihrer Vorderseite mit wenigstens einem Abdeckelement verkleidet, dessen unterer horizontaler Rand einen Abstand zum Rohboden einhält, so daß nach außen ein Spalt zu einem Hohlraum hinter dem Abdeckelement vorhanden ist. Damit z. B. beim Aufbringen des Estrichs auf dem Rohboden der Estrich nicht in unerwünschter Weise durch den Spalt in den Hohlraum hinter dem erwähnten Abdeckelement einfließen kann, wird erfindungsgemäß zum Abschluß dieses Spaltes (22) ein abgewinkeltes Abschottelement (23) höhenverstellbar am Traggestell (12) des Installationsblocks (10) befestigt, vorzugweise hinter dem Abdeckelement (20). Der horizontale Abschnitt (25) des Abschottelements (23) überlappt die vorstehenden Teile der Fußplatten (17), um eine Beschädigung der für die Feuchtraumisolierung verwendeten Schweiß- bzw. Folienbahnen durch die scharfen Kanten und Ränder der Fußplatten (17) zu vermeiden. <IMAGE>
