Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0520597A2] A coin storage structure includes a flat base plate (20), a first side plate (50), a coin storage path (23), pivot levers (32), projections (40, 41), and escape portions (27, 55). The flat base plate is disposed almost upright. The first side plate is opposite and spaced apart from the base plate by a predetermined distance by at least three spacers (53). The coin storage path is formed between the base plate and the first side plate to store coins dropping in rolling contact with the coin storage path. The pivot levers are pivotally supported in the coin storage path to hold the coins in a radial direction. The projections are formed on both side surfaces of each of the pivot levers, which both side surfaces face the base plate and the first side plate, respectively. The escape portions are respectively formed on the base plate and the first side plate in correspondence with pivotal tracks of the projections so as not to bring the projections into contact with at least one of the base plate and the first side plate. <IMAGE>
