The invention relates to a process for reclaiming used foundry sand, whose original foundry sand contained, as forming material, inorganic binders such as, for example and especially, bentonite (= "inorganic spent sand") or/and organic binders such as, for example and especially, phenolic resins or/and furan resins (= "organic spent sand"), wherein the spent sand to be reprocessed is impregnated with water and then transferred in the moist state into a heated fluidised bed. <IMAGE>

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zum Regenerieren von Gießerei-Altsand, dessen Ursprungs-Formsand als Formstoff anorganische Bindemittel wie z.B. und insb. Bentonit (= "anorganischer Altsand") oder/und organische Bindemittel wie z.B. und insb. Phenol- oder/und Furanharze (= "organischer Altsand") enthielt, wobei, daß der aufzubereitende Altsand mit Wasser getränkt wird und anschließend im feuchten Zustand in eine erhitzte Wirbelschicht verbracht wird. <IMAGE>
