The invention relates to a protective helmet (10) having a visor (20), in particular one which can be swung open. The novel protective helmet is characterised in that it has on each side, lying directly opposite the auditory canal of each ear of the wearer, a sound-passage opening (12) with a variable closure mechanism (13, 13', 13", 80), respectively closing and opening hte sound-passage opening (12). The protective helmet preferably has, at least partially, a cushioning (14) and, provided on the cushioning in the region of each sound-passage opening (12), an inwardly open sound-insulating capsule (15), having a clearance (12'). <IMAGE>
Abstract (de)
Die Erfindung betrifft einen Schutzhelm (10), mit einem, insbesonders aufklappbaren Visier (20). Der neue Schutzhelm ist dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß er seitlich je eine direkt gegenüber dem Gehörgang jeden Ohres des Trägers liegende Schalldurchlaßöffnung (12) mit einem variablen, die Schalldurchlaßöffnung (12) verschließenden bzw. öffnenden Verschlußmechanismus (13, 13', 13'', 80) aufweist. Bevorzugt weist der Schutzhelm zumindest teilweise eine Posterung (14) auf und es ist auf der Polsterung im Bereich der Schalldurchlaßöffnung (12) je eine nach innen offene, eine Durchbrechung (12') aufweisende Schallschutzkapsel (15) vorgesehen. <IMAGE>
