[origin: WO9114590A1] A multi-purpose suspension system for resiliently mounting a rigid body (10) on a rigid base assembly (14, 16, 18, 20), comprises an intermediate frame (22) spring-supported from the base assembly for limited relative angular movement about an axis (12) vertically aligned with the central longitudinal axis of the base assembly and pivotally supporting the body (10) for limited horizontal and vertical movement relative thereto, and arm means (70, 71) pivotally mounted on at least one end of the base assembly for limited angular movement relative thereto about an axis parallel with the axis of rotation of intermediate frame (22), the arm means (70, 71) being connected by links (70A, 70B, 72A, 72B) to opposite sides of the body (10).

Système de suspension à usages multiples servant au montage élastique d'un corps rigide (10) sur un ensemble de base rigide (14, 16, 18, 20), comprenant un cadre intermédiaire (22) monté sur ressort à partir de l'ensemble de base pour effectuer un mouvement angulaire relatif et limité autour d'un axe (12) aligné verticalement sur l'axe longitudinal central de l'ensemble de base et sur lequel le corps (10) s'appuie pour pivoter selon un mouvement horizontal et vertical limité et relatif par rapport audit cadre. Le système comprend également des bras (70, 71) montés pour pivoter sur au moins l'une des extrémités de l'ensemble de base selon un mouvement angulaire limité et relatif à celui-ci autour d'un axe parallèle à l'axe de rotation du cadre intermédiaire (22), lesdits bras étant reliés par des éléments de liaison (70A, 70B, 72A, 72B) aux côtés opposés du corps (10).
