[origin: WO9114734A1] Cationic ammonium-substituted vinyl polymer is used to improve the performance properties of various adhesives. Adhesives such as the alkyl vinyl ether/maleic acids and various other polymeric adhesives exhibit improved holding properties when combined with the ammonium-substituted polymer, especially in the presence of moisture. Improved bioadhesives, e.g., denture adhesives, are provided.

On utilise un polymère vinylique à substitution ammonium cationique afin d'améliorer les propriétés de rendements de divers adhésifs. Des adhésifs tels que les acides alkyle vinyle éther/maléique ainsi que divers autres adhésifs polymères présentent des propriétés de maintien améliorées lorsqu'on les combine avec le polymère à substitution ammonium, notamment en présence d'humidité. L'invention concerne également des bioadhésifs améliorés, par exemple, des adhésifs dentaires.
