Method for packaging a palettised load by means of plastic film, in which an initial end part of a film strip, coming from a reel, is associated with the lateral side of the load; a pivoting movement of the shaft of the reel of film and of the load around a first axis is effected and the film strip is deposited on this lateral side; the film is deposited on the upper end side to be covered; the film strip is cut transversely and is joined to the film deposited or to the load; a pass is performed in which the pivoting movement is halted; a relative pivoting movement of one quarter to three quarters of a revolution of the shaft of the reel and of the load about a second axis is effected; in this situation, at least one sliding movement of the shaft of the reel and of the load along the second axis is effected; then a pivoting movement of one quarter to three quarters of a revolution of the shaft of the reel and of the load about the second axis is effected; and the pivoting movement about the first axis is recommenced. <IMAGE>

Procédé d'emballage d'une charge palettisée au moyen de film en matière plastique dans lequel on associe une partie extrême initiale d'une bande de film provenant d'une bobine à la face latérale de la charge ; on effectue un mouvement de pivotement de l'axe de la bobine de film et de la charge autour d'un premier axe et on dépose la bande de film sur cette face latérale ; on dépose du film sur la face d'extrémité supérieure à recouvrir ; on coupe transversalement la bande de film et on la solidarise au film déposé ou à la charge ; on réalise une passe dans laquelle on cesse le mouvement de pivotement ; on effectue un mouvement relatif de pivotement d'un quart à trois quarts de tours de l'axe de la bobine et de la charge autour d'un second axe ; dans cette situation, on effectue au moins un mouvement de coulissement de l'axe de la bobine et de la charge le long du second axe ; puis on effectue un mouvement de pivotement d'un quart à trois quarts de tour de l'axe de la bobine et de la charge autour du second axe ; on recommence le mouvement de pivotement autour du premier axe. <IMAGE>
