Le compactage de granulés concentrés permet d'obtenir des comprimés pré-dosés, de préférence sous forme de pastille, qui présentent une bonne durée de vie alliée à une résistance élevée aux chocs et aux impacts. Les granulés concentrés sont obtenus lors d'une première étape du procédé par compactage d'un mélange initial homogène avec addition d'un plastifiant et/ou d'un lubrifiant à travers des moules perforés, à des pressions comprises entre 25 et 200 bars.
