Supporting element which is essentially designed as a plate (10), the underside of which rests on a frame surface or similar support surface and the upper side (13) of which supports the glazing or the like, and has at least one convexity (16) which projects resiliently from the plate plane on the glass side and which in particular is orientated transversely to longitudinal edges (17) of the plate (10). Adjoining the convexity (16) and facilitating its deformation is at least one slot-shaped or groove-shaped recess (20) of the plate (10). <IMAGE>

Abstützteil das im wesentlichen als Platte (10) ausgebildet ist, deren Unterseite auf einer Rahmen- od.dgl. Stützfläche aufliegt und deren Oberseite (13) die Verglasung od.dgl. abstützt sowie mindestens eine aus der Plattenebene glasseitig federnd vorspringende Wölbung (16) aufweist, die insbesondere quer zu Längskanten (17) der Platte (10) orientiert ist. An die Wölbung (16) schließt mindestens eine deren Verformung erleichternde schlitz- oder nutenartige Vertiefung (20) der Platte (10) an. <IMAGE>
