[origin: US5259283A] A crosscutting device for a folder assembly utilizes a pair of cooperating cylinders. A cutting groove cylinder has at least one groove strip assembly on its periphery and cooperates with a cutter cylinder having a corresponding number of cutters. Each groove strip assembly includes a cutting groove component and a pressure spring component.
