[origin: JPH05185371A] PURPOSE: To shorten the machining time for grinding tools having various shapes and to drastically reduce the shape error of the grinding tools by providing a dressing tool with a negative shape close to the target shape of the grinding tool in a surface range and by letting the grinding tool to hold cutting grains bonded in the surface range. CONSTITUTION: This precision grinding tool 1 is regenerated using a dressing tool 2 and abrasives 201 suspended and isolated in liquid in a gap 120 between the dressing tool 2 and the grinding tool 1. In this case, the dressing tool 2 has approximately the negative desired form of the grinding tool 1 in a surface range and the dressing tool 2 has bonded abrasives in this surface range. The grinding tool 1 is fastened to a work spindle in regeneration and generally the device has a means for bringing the dressing tool 2 to a position of a work to be ground by the grinding tool 1.

Vorrichtung zum Regenerieren von rotierenden präzisen Schleifwerkzeugen (1) mit einem Abrichtwerkzeug (2) und in Flüssigkeit suspendiertem losem Schleifmittel (301) in einem Spalt (120) zwischen beiden, wobei das Abrichtwerkzeug (2) in einem Flächenbereich angenähert die negative Soll-Form des Schleifwerkzeugs (1) aufweist und das Abrichtwerkzeug (2) in diesem Flächenbereich gebundene Schneidkörner (201) trägt. Vorzugsweise rotiert das Schleifwerkzeug (1) auf der Arbeitsspindel. Auch das Abrichtwerkzeug (2) wird bewegt. Varianten für zylindrische, ballige und Topfschleifscheiben u.a. <IMAGE>
